Three-quarters blended from the Charles Heintz Vineyard near Occidental. These 21-year-old vines are planted in pure Goldridge loam, and due to the cool location ripen three weeks later than our Carneros vineyards. There is also 12% from the small Green Pastures Vineyard--36-year-old Wente in a pocket canyon up Felta Creek Road; 10% from the Kent Ritchie Vineyard; and 3% Lorenzo Vineyard, which we tried a small lot from this year.
